An Evening on the Matanzas – A Gala to Benefit Council on Aging
Each year, Council on Aging hosts an evening of dinner, dancing, live music, and a charity auction at River House on the Matanzas River in St. Augustine in support of Council on Aging’s important work for seniors and caregivers in our community. Ticket sales for the 2023 event have ended.
Thank you to all who participated in the 2023 “An Evening on the Matanzas” annual fundraising gala at River House in St. Augustine! Proceeds from the event, and the companion golf tournament, support COA’s programs and services for seniors and caregivers in St. Johns County. It is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we cannot thank those who participated and those who made the event possible enough! Many individuals and businesses generously donated their time, resources, and energy to create this beautiful garden-party themed experience in service to our community’s elders. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Council on Aging has been serving seniors and caregivers in St. Johns County for the past 49 years. Our annual August gala and Champions for Elders golf tournament are our largest and most important fundraisers of the year.
Each year, Gala attendees are invited to enjoy dinner, dancing, live music, and a charity auction at River House on the Matanzas River in St. Augustine. River House, COA’s five-star events venue, is located at 179 Marine Street overlooking the Matanzas River in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. On-site parking is complimentary.
